How to Volunteer

To volunteer is to choose to act in recognition of a need, with an attitude of social responsibility and without concern for monetary profit, going beyond one's basic obligations. (Examples: teacher aid, tutor, hospital volunteer)

Volunteer Requirements at WECHS:

40 hours completed yearly. A minimum of 160 hours for a 4 year graduate and 200 hours for a 5 year graduate)

Completion of the Volunteer Hours Form

Volunteer Hour Guidelines

Please complete volunteer hours form and turn it in to Ms. Williams - WECHS Office 113.

How Do I Go About Volunteering:

Call the organization and set up an appointment to talk to someone.  Ask questions about the program and if there is an orientation that you must attend. Commit to the hours you signed up for. They are depending on you.
